Two teenagers have been killed during a drive-by shooting in Belhar near Bellville outside Cape Town. The motive for the incident is being investigated as well as whether the incident is gang related.

Police spokesperson, André Traut says the victims, aged 14 and 15-years-old, were sitting in a car on the corner of Symphony Way, when they were shot at.

“The suspects fled the scene and they are yet to be arrested. Any person with information please contact crime stop on 08600 1011.”

Meanwhile, Cape Town Law Enforcement officials have arrested four suspects for separate incidents of drug possession and theft.

Law Enforcement Inspector, Wayne Dyason says the first arrest was for heroin possession in Wynberg. In the second instance, a 28-year-old man was also nabbed for being possession of heroin on the Grand Parade.

Earlier this week, a 26-year-old suspect was taken into police custody for stealing the cellphone of a patron queuing at a well-known food outlet in the CBD.
