The trial of two men accused of murdering media personality Warrick Stock, known as DJ Warras, has been postponed due to incomplete investigative documentation.
Mozambican national Armindo Pacula and taxi boss Vincent Majola appeared briefly at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Both face charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder, while Pacula additionally faces charges related to his immigration status.
Stock was fatally shot outside Zambesi House in the Johannesburg CBD last December, where he was contracted to audit and secure the premises.
The accused have been in custody for four months following a court decision denying them bail.
State prosecutor Vincent Mochabela explained that key investigative elements, including facial comparison analysis, call data records, and financial information, remain outstanding. The drafting of the formal indictment has also not yet been completed, prompting the postponement.
