There are plenty exciting matches to look forward to at the highly anticipated Uefa Euro 2024, which will take place from June 14.
The group stage draw for the Uefa Euro 2024 tournament has been made, and excitement is building ahead of the big event this June.
The tournament opens in style, with hosts Germany going against Scotland in the first match. Germany who are three-time Euro winners, are competing in the 14th edition of the tournament and they are hoping to secure a win in front of their home fans.
However, Julian Nagelsmann’s side will face an uphill task against Scotland, who barely lost in qualifying and defeated the likes of Spain and Norway along the way. Scotland has never defeated Germany in eight prior competitive matches, but anything is possible in Munich.
Furthermore, Spain will face off Croatia while Italy goes against Albania in games with all the makings of real classics, for Matchday 2.
Spain last won the event in 2012, defeating Italy 4-0 in the final, and they are among the favourites to go all the way again this season. They have a tremendously talented roster that includes star names like Rodri, Pedri, and promising young winger Lamine Yamal.
The Euro 2024 competition also has France and England as top contenders. The event will take place in top stadiums across the country of Germany, making it a must-see for football fans.
