As it happens every year, Durban turned the heat on winter with the Durban July. South Africa’s A-list descended on the Greyville Racecourse for the prestigious horserace which has become known for everything other than the horseracing.

One of the biggest things it’s known for is the fashion. This year’s theme was vaguer than ever: “The Colour of Magic”. With Vodacom staying on as headline sponsor, the rationale for the theme aimed at getting attendees to arrive in its brand colour red.

Of course, you could count the number of people who stuck to red. The good news is there was a healthy number of of flawless looks. Peep some of the best below.
