Pretoria – The Ministry of Human Settlements says it has noted the fake Twitter account, which purports to be that of Minister Lindiwe Sisulu.
The Ministry said the Twitter account, @SisuluLindiwe, seems to have been opened on 18 May.
“We would like to point out that the Minister has never had any Twitter account. Members of the public are urged to contact the department whenever these social media accounts crop up. Our email address is media@dhs.gov.za.
“We are grateful to those members of the public who continue to alert us about these misleading social media activities,” said the department.
