A man called Ngcebo Thusi has been taken in for questioning by police after a Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) student was found stabbed to death at Ekhaya Junction, campus residence.

According to the report, Ntokozo’s friends notified security at student accommodation in Ekhaya Junction, Pretoria after they couldn’t reach her on phone.

Security personnel went to inspect Ntokozo’s apartment and upon arrival, found her deceased with multiple stab wounds on her upper body, the South African Police Service (SAPS) were notified and after further investigation a male suspect was arrested on a charge of murder.

According to police, she was drinking with friends including her ex-boyfriend on Wednesday. The friends reportedly left the two together that night, said spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello.
