Johannesburg residents in 40 suburbs will experience scheduled power outages between Tuesday, 18 February 2025, and Thursday, 20 February 2025. The outages will take place at different times depending on the affected areas.

According to City Power, the planned interruptions are necessary to conduct essential maintenance on the electricity network, ensuring improved service delivery.

“As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to always treat their electricity supply points as live,” City Power stated.

For any queries, residents can contact City Power’s call centre at 011 490 7484.
