JOHANNESBURG – Many South Africans will be happy that social grants are increasing from Friday.
But that’s about it for the good news.
The plastic bag levy comes into effect on Friday while the fuel levy jumps by 30 cents a litre.
The pain continues next week when petrol and diesel shoots up by between 85 and 95 cents a litre.
And finally, Eskom is rubbing its hands with glee as electricity costs increase by 9.4 percent.
