Three family members are expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court on Monday for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl.
It is alleged the victim was sexually abused by her 60-year-old stepfather and two nephews – aged 29 and 30 – since January this year.
The ordeal allegedly occurred at the Spring Acre farm, situated on the N-8 road between Kimberley and Bloemfontein.
Northern Cape police have strongly condemned the incident and have applauded members of the Kimberley Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit for arresting the three family members.
