In a major breakthrough, police have arrested a Gauteng businessman in connection with the 2022 murder of popular musician and entrepreneur Oupa John Sefoka, widely known as DJ Sumbody.
The arrest was carried out on Monday at the suspect’s residence in Sandton, according to information confirmed by senior law enforcement sources.
DJ Sumbody was fatally shot in November 2022 in Woodmead in what appeared to be a targeted attack. The ambush claimed the life of another individual and left a third person wounded.
