Condolences are pouring in following the death of African National Congress (ANC) Member of Parliament Fezeka Loliwe.
She died after her vehicle overturned near Fort Hare University in Alice in the Eastern Cape on Monday.
Loliwe was the former secretary of teachers’ union Sadtu in the province, before she became a Member of Parliament.
ANC provincial secretary Lulama Ngcukayitobi says, “The African National Congress have received very sad news of passing away of comrade Loliwe, who was the Member of Parliament and serving in the Parliament in Cape Town.”
“We sincerely send our condolences to the family, friends and various comrades who were very close to comrade Loliwe. She was a very hard working person who is committed to the African revolution,” adds Ngcukayitobi.
