Gauteng Police Arrest Two Suspects In Connection With DJ Warras Murder
Gauteng police have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of popular media personality Warrick Stock, widely known as DJ Warras.
The arrests follow an investigation into the fatal shooting that occurred on December 16. Earlier on Monday, police questioned two individuals who have since been formally detained.
Stock had reportedly been called to the Zambesi House building in the Johannesburg central business district, where he was providing security services, when he was shot outside the premises. While two suspects are currently in custody, authorities believe that a third person may have been involved in the ambush.
Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili confirmed that the investigation remains active as officers continue to search for additional accomplices. The two individuals in custody are expected to appear at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday to face murder charges.
