PRETORIA – Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) struggle veteran Kenny Motsamai’s parole has been revoked by Justice Minister Michael Masutha.
According to the Justice Department, the decision to revoke Motsamai’s parole was taken on Monday because Motsamai failed to adhere to his parole conditions.
Motsamai is said to have violated his parole conditions by traveling outside the magisterial district under which he falls, under false pretenses – in order to attend a protest.
Last year in January, Motsamai was released from the Boksburg prison after serving 27 years.
According to the department, Motsamai will now remain at the Boksburg Correctional Facility where he will attend Life Skills and Behaviour Modification programmes and also undergo counseling.
“The Department of Correctional Services remains committed to ensuring effective rehabilitation and re-integration of all offenders back into society,” it said in a statement.
Motsamai was jailed for killing a white police officer in Rustenburg in the early 1990s.
In 'democratic' SA, PAC cadre #KennyMotsamai, kept in jail for +20 years by the ANC regime, is on hunger strike in prison. Released on parole last year, he 'violated' his parole conditions by attending a march. Does this man not have the rights of a citizen? What freedom is this?

It's hypocritical for Africans to claim to celebrate human rights day while #KennyMotsamai and Apla soldiers are still political prisoners while De Klerk and apartheid regime soldiers are still serving as Generals. @MYANC forgave the enemy but refuse to release all Apla soldiers
