Usher’s estranged wife has called time on their marriage a month after they announced a separation.
Grace Miguel filed divorce papers on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ.
The Yeah! singer wed Grace in 2015, but the marriage was tested last year after four people accused Usher of exposing them to genital herpes.
The singer and his partner, who spent nearly 10 years together, released a joint statement confirming the end of their relationship on March 6, insisting they plan to move forward as friends.
“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” the statement read. “We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives.
Usher and Grace started dating in 2009, shortly after he split from his first wife, Tameka Foster, the mother of his sons Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely.
