TSHWANE – Thoko Didiza is hitting the campaign trail in Tshwane on Friday morning.
The ANC’s mayoral candidate for the capital spoke out for the first time since her nomination.
Didiza said it’s a pity some residents resonated to violence and that these incidents don’t reflect the feelings of the people of Tshwane.
Her opponents have labelled her an outsider, with some even using ethnicity to reject her candidacy.
The ANC has hit back, saying Didiza’s lived in Tshwane for over 20 years, and has the metro’s best interests at heart.
Didiza wasn’t forthcoming on when she will hit the ground in Tshwane.
