The #ivoted campaign that is trending on Facebook and twitter is a campaign that is spearheaded by the IEC and was only created as a campaign to distract social media users from taking selfies of their vote choice.

However the campaign has pooled in an even unexpected success as many social media users got on the #ivoted train to get their picture on the trending list of pictures posted on social media.
The campaign has already seem up to 30000 twitted pictures and the voting are still ongoing for the next 3 hours, this shows a very huge amount of acceptance of a very well strategised campaign that has not only achieved the many objective but an extra benefit.
