JOHANNESBURG – Tensions continue to escalate between the ANC and its tripartite alliance partner, the SACP, over corruption.
The Communist Party is now calling for a bilateral meeting to discuss the grievances.
This comes after the ANC stopped an investigation into the Gupta family’s alleged involvement in state affairs.
The SACP says the decision to stop the probe is a farce and a whitewash.
On the other hand, the ANC says the investigation was fruitless, adding that only one person came forward with a written submission.
