I have been in Liberia monitoring elections and only just heard the sad news. My family and I are in prayers for the quick recovery of Yusuf Buhari. It is my deep desire that a young man so full of promise should live and thrive to fulfil the promises God has domiciled in him.

Nigeria, one of the largest oil exporter is recently facing an oil crisis. One which has caused a lot of uproar in the civic space for the past 4 weeks.

Many Nigerians were unable to travel or visit their relatives during the festive, these have made Nigerians angered at the quick response of public official to the non-official issue of Buhari’s son. Nigerians  took to Twitter to show their pain and disregard for the Nigerians serving in the public office of the country:

Buhari Media team can update us on Yusuf Buhari, a Private citizen that we didn’t elect, but they can’t update on on Muhammadu Buhari, our democratically elected President.

— Mallam Maliki🇳🇬 (@iam_2gunz) December 27, 2017

This Buhari & APC Government won’t Cease to Amuse me.
And of what importance is the News?
This just another way of APC to divert the Populace attention away from their Failure, & Under-achievement.

Rich kids with nothing to worry about. Nigerians are finding it difficult to get fuel, yet Yusuf Buhari got home supply for his power bike… And PMB was telling us nonsense

— Jèfé Juān Jọsé (@Jefe_says) December 27, 2017

Fuck every single PMB aides tweeting about Yusuf Buhari accident but didn’t say shit about the #fuelscarcity and #EndSars issues. Una eye service go kill una one day. CUNTS!

— Isi (@I_Am_Smalls) December 28, 2017
