Ibadan – Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State, from the South west local government in Nigeria has come under public scrutiny for misuse of public office.
In a video that was circulated on the internet, the Nigerian governor (speaking in his native dialect) is seen addressing a group of student from Ladoke Akintola University in Nigeria.
The University has been closed for over eight months and in a call to get the government to intervene and re-open the institution, students marched in a peaceful protest to the federal building to speak to the governor, what followed was a public display of executive arrogance and tyranny.
That Ajumobi video puts ‘leadership’ in Nigeria into perspective. In their minds, they’re doing us a favor and we should be grateful…

I am disappointed at the Governor of Oyo State! A father should know better. 7 months a home is no joke https://t.co/1U8s40xOL2 via @youtube

I watched Ajumobi’s conversation with LAUTECH STUDENTS.
Lack of respect/decorum displayed by Ladokites capped it up https://t.co/GqNaAT3GA3
