Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has once again found himself at odds with Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema, this time suggesting that Malema should be classified as an international criminal.
Musk’s remarks were in response to a video in which Malema alleged that the Democratic Alliance (DA) prioritises its white leaders.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has recently been vocal about South African politics, including his opposition to the Expropriation Act.
“So these people, when you want to hit them hard, go for a white man. They feel a terrible pain because you have touched a white man. Not because Mashaba and Solly will not be touched. They will be touched, don’t worry. But we are staring with this whiteness. We are cutting the throat of whiteness,” Malema said in the video.
Musk reacted to the clip on the social media platform X, accusing Malema of inciting genocide against white South Africans.
He further called for sanctions against the EFF leader, suggesting that he should be designated as an international criminal.
