Insurance provider Old Mutual has come under fire for allegedly refusing to pay out a funeral claim to a KwaZulu-Natal family.
A video that has gone viral on social media networks, shows two women loading a body into a vehicle after stating that the company had finally paid out the claim.
This after the family left the body of their loved one at an Old Mutual office in protest.
In a video, family members are seen carrying the body.
Onlookers who are visibly shaken are seen sitting in their offices watching the incident unfold.
It is believed that the KwaZulu-Natal family was forced to take the body of their loved one to the Old Mutual offices, following delays with their funeral claim.
Old Mutual will speak to the SABC on channel 404 Wednesday morning to answer to these allegations.
