A member of British rapper Skepta’s Boy Better Know music crew has been slapped with 29 counts of rape.
Solo 45, real name Andy Anokye, had previously pleaded not guilty to two charges of rape, one count of false imprisonment, and one of causing actual bodily harm, and his trial was due to begin on Wednesday (18Oct17) in Bristol, England.
However, the case was adjourned until next year (18) after authorities revealed three new complainants had come forward with new allegations, prompting police to file 27 additional rape claims against the 31-year-old.
His trial is now due to resume on 16 April (18).
The rapper has been a member of the Boy Better Know grime collective since 2006 and is signed to their namesake label, launched by Skepta and his brother JME.
Canadian superstar Drake became a special member of the crew last year (16).
Representatives for Skepta and his label have yet to comment on the news.
