The power outage has affected most traffic lights on Ontdekkers Road.
According to City Power, a fault in a feeder cable at the Nursery Power Station in Roodepoort caused the power failure.

City Power says that a team has been sent to the affected area to repair the cables.
Agents at City Power could not give an exact time when the repairs would be completed and the electricity supply fully restored.
