JOHANNESBURG – There’s no doubt that at four years old, DJ Arch Jnr is a superstar in his own right.
The toddler made both local and international headlines, when he became the youngest winner of SA’s Got Talent in 2015, where he scooped the grand prize of R500,000. Arch Jnr, who now has a firm fan following, has won over the hearts over millions of South Africans, who have been left in awe by his natural passion for music.
Of course, not everyone believes in natural talent, with many skeptics accusing the toddler’s parents of foul play. Shortly after winning the talent show, Arch’s father came out to defend him against accusations of foul play, after critics accused the DJ of playing pre-recorded mixes.
These accusations again surfaced this week, after Arch was billed as the closing act at the Saftas over the weekend. The DJ’s performance created widespread debate on social media with some users accusing him of playing a pre-recorded mix.
There has been no comment about the reaction from Arch’s management yet.
😂 "@walliesta: DJ Arch Jnr is getting gigs that our friends who can mix 6 song will never smell. The least he can do is pay his taxes guys"
