JOHANNESBURG – The son of former journalist, Hope Zinde is due to appear at the Brits Magistrate’s court on Monday.
Former SABC journalist and board member Hope Zinde has been described as a strong and independent woman.
Family spokesperson Majota Kambule, better known as “Phat Joe”, said the following about Zinde, “Hope Zinde was born long before me. She wasn’t that older than me but she was definitely like a sister to me and in many ways was like my mother. Very strong willed, very strong minded, very independent. In a nutshell, that’s Hope Zinde, my big sister.”
Zinde was found dead at her home near the Hartebeespoort dam.
Her son was subsequently arrested on charges of murder and drug possession.
