| A man has been placed under arrest after he was unable to give a reasonable explanation for possession of two carrier bags containing cellular telephones and tablets, found in the boot of a vehicle.
It is alleged that on Tuesday 13 March 2017, two suspects entered PEP store on Main Reef Road, Randfontein, and took cellular telephones, tablets and cash at gunpoint. A traffic officer at Randfontein Traffic called for assistance after he noticed a suspicious vehicle. The members found a vehicle with one occupant and inspected the vehicle where they found the property suspected to be linked to the business robbery. Numerous false sets of registration plates were also found in the vehicle. The 30 year old suspect will appear in court in due course. Police investigations continue. |
