Former Premier of the North West Supra Mahumapelo, has congratulated the new Premier-elect Job Mokgoro.
The ANC made the announcement a short while ago. On Thursday, the 70-year-old Mokgoro will be sworn in as Premier in the Provincial legislature.
ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule says Mokgoro is more than qualified for the position.
Mahumapelo says the Provincial Executive Committee of the North West will support Mokgoro
“We will be supporting unashamedly without any ambiguousness, we will relentlessly support the new premier. The first thing that must happen is the professor is sworn in as an ordinary member of the legislature the second thing to happen is to engage the structures today, the ANC alliance and leagues to inform them formally. The third thing will be the caucus of the ANC sitting tomorrow at 8am in Mahikeng so that we can agree on the process inside the house. The fourth thing which will then happen is to nominate and elect the premier,” Mahumapelo says.
