Vaal – ER24 paramedics, along with various other services, arrived on the scene at 06h20 to find the taxi lying on its side in the middle of the road.
The passengers, that had been travelling in the taxi, had already managed to climb out of the taxi vehicle and were now seated on the side of the road.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that a total of twelve had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to various hospitals by various services for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
