JOHANNESBURG – The family of South African hip hop artist Itumeleng George Tladi today confirmed with profound sadness and loss, the untimely passing of the artist.
Itumeleng was known by his stage name Tumi Tladi, he was deeply loved by his family, friends and the entertainment industry as a whole.
There were speculations making the rounds regarding a possible suicide case. That the artist might have taken his own life. The rumor of his death was later confirmed by the family In a letter that was released, the cause of death was not mention but the family requested privacy and space from the media.
The late artist suicide was rumored around the tweets that he posted a day before his death:

In the letter “Son, brother and uncle, Tumi Tladi (30) sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning (10th July 2022) in Johannesburg. He leaves behind his parents, five siblings, his niece and nephews. The Tladi family humbly request privacy during period of grieving and ask that you please keep them in your prayers.
