Pretoria – PRIME Hydration launched in-store on Monday and promptly flew off the shelves. Before the clock struck 12 on Monday, 1 May, Checkers’s online stores had officially sold out of stock of Prime drinks, made by YouTube and TikTok sensations Logan Paul and KSI.
Now in a desperate attempt to get their hands on just eight 500ml drinks, shoppers are braving long queues and even stampedes.
While stores are continuously selling out, the retailer has enough in storage to promptly restock.
It has been reported on Twitter that Checkers was able to stock the product at an affordable price by using their resources and distribution network to import directly from the manufacturer.
According to Checkers, Prime drink stock has already sold out on their Sixty60 app.
This, following their invitation for shoppers to gain early access the night before to purchasing the popular drink.
