Eskom has announced that it will not implement any load-shedding on Friday and during the weekend.
On Thursday the embattled power utility announced that it would reduce power outages from Stage2 to Stage1.
Eskom spokesperson Sikhonathi Mantshantsha says overnight their technicians have returned a further three units to the power grid creating enough capacity to meet the demand for power.
