PRETORIA – On Friday night, 29 May 2020, members of the Tshwane TRT, Ekurhuleni TRT, and Gauteng Traffic Police followed intelligence-driven information that led them to the most wanted suspect, who is wanted on cases ranging from armed robbery, business robbery, cash in transit robberies and car hijackings.

The members proceeded to the address where the suspect was hiding in Riverside View. Upon arrival, it is alleged they knocked on the door and the suspect’s girlfriend opened the door. Police tactically positioned themselves around the house. When the suspect realised it was the police, he allegedly fired one shot, this was measured back with retaliation shots from the police that fatally wounded and killed the suspect.

Upon entering and searching the house, the joint task force team found a bag with nine pistols, two rifles, and magazines with live ammunition. A white Mercedes Benz AMG suspected to be hijacked was also found in the yard.

The SAPS have not given any further information on forensic information regarding the guns that were recovered from the deceased suspect. Any linked cases in which some of this ammunition were used as well as traceable prints of other members. Here are the general opinions:

It’s a pity that the suspect resisted arrest. I would have liked to hear from him as to how many innocent souls he has murdered, how many cars he has hijacked and who are the buyers of his stolen loot?
Crime is a demand/supply business. Our people are buying stolen goods!

He definitely had a team, and intelligence driven or not, killing him was amateur as the witch hunt for the other members becomes difficult, hence putting more lives at risk. @FaithMazibukoSA @SAPoliceService must be given tactical training to shoot to disarm, not kill everything

Most wanted killed. Clearly he was going to implicate people. I once watched a movie about this.

What’s his nationality

This time we say suspect meaning he is a local. If it is a Nigerian or Zimbo he isn’t a suspect, we have the breaking news. “A Nigerian criminal have been killed “

Gun been reported missing, get recovered like this one’s, and yet again you get the same gun onthe next scene maybe next year.
