JOHANNESBURG – Authorities are denying claims by EFF Leader Julius Malema that he was harassed by police officers on Sunday night.
Malema says he was pulled over and confronted by armed officers in an unmarked vehicle in Sandton.
He says 10 more police vehicles arrived, and officers pointed their guns at his car, forcing him out.
Johannesburg Metropolitan Police spokesman Wayne Minnaar said the officers were not in the wrong.
