The family of Mark Minnie has confirmed hiring independent forensic investigator Dr David Klatzow to investigate circumstances surrounding his death.
Minnie was the co-author of ‘The Lost Boys of Bird Island’ which details allegations on paedophile network that included Apartheid era Defence Minister Magnus Malan.
It’s alleged the ex-policeman committed suicide on Monday at his friend’s smallholding in Theescombe, near Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, on Monday.
But his family is not convinced that Minnie committed suicide. Klatzow confirmed to SABC News that he was leading the investigation.
Asked for more details on his exact role or what services he would offer, he replied: “I can’t tell you anything more.”
