Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says he will open a counter criminal case against Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan at the Brooklyn Police Station in Pretoria on Tuesday.
Malema says charges will include money laundering, corruption, racketeering, fraud, contravention of Intelligence Act and, Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act and perjury.
This comes after Gordhan laid criminal charges against Malema at the same police station earlier on Monday. The charges include crimen injuria, defamation of character as well as inciting violence.
Gordhan says he plans to approach the equality court to lay more charges against Malema.
