Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema reaffirmed Mbuyiseni Ndlozi’s position within the party, stating that Ndlozi has renewed his membership and remains a key member of the EFF.
Malema’s remarks came in response to speculation that Ndlozi was planning to leave the party following the recent departure of high-profile members, including former deputy president Floyd Shivambu.
Speaking to supporters outside the Constitutional Court in Johannesburg on Tuesday, Malema dismissed the rumours and urged members to trust only official communications from the EFF leadership.
He also criticised the spread of misinformation, referring to it as “shebeen gossip” and “toilet discussions,” while emphasising the importance of seeking clarity directly from party leaders.
Malema expressed confidence in the party’s unity, pointing to the large turnout at the march to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) as evidence.
He stated that Ndlozi’s commitment to the EFF remains steadfast, rejecting claims to the contrary as unfounded.
