According to various media reports, Lundi Tyamara, has been hospitalised in Johannesburg for more than 3 weeks, reports claimed he was admitted, discharged but soon re-admitted again.
Recently, a media house confirmed that the musician has died but the manager rubbished the claims and said Lundi was under medical observation. Julius Malema also topped it ,when he dropped a twit yesterday confirming that the gospel singer was still alive

Some of the media allegedly wrote that he has abdominal tuberculosis, along with chest pains and a liver problem. A second source reportedly said he also has breathing problems. They said he would probably not be able to perform for some time once he is released.
So what do we know and what are we not sure of , so we visited edenvale hospital and asked a few of the people who had access to Lundi Tyamara’s undisclosed area of the hospital. Media is barred out but we were able to speak to a senior sister at the hospital who confirmed that the diagnosis was infact abdominal tuberculosis topped with intestine pains and concussions.
The artist is responding to treatment but the situation is one that cannot be guaranteed, depending on the extent of infection but such cases are 50/50 chances. She did not give us information of the level of the sickness as she did not want to be quoted. She referred us to a senior colleague who refused to comment.
We are convienced and can confirm that Lundi Tyamara is still alive .
Lundi Tyamara has been a solo singer since 1998 with a string of gospel hits to his name. Lundi’s musical journey began as a backing singer for the great Rebecca Malope and while doing so was noticed by producer Tshepo Nzimande. Immediately spotting Lundi’s great potential, Tshepo set out to help Lundi launch his first ever solo album.
