Johannesburg – Robbie Malinga was confirmed dead today by family members on phone and colleague TK Nciza who was in an interview on ENCA. Associates of the legend took to twitTwitterexpress their loss.
The hitmaker and producer of “baby please” and “sobabili” amongst other accomplishments was allegedly sick and battling with Anaemia for a while and finally sucumed to the sickness.
According to reports, He was admitted to hospital for a month in June, where it was found he had an iron deficiency and suffered from anaemia. Malinga ‘suddenly died’ at his home in the afternoon of Christmas.
He had recently celebrated his 17-year wedding anniversary with his wife in Paris, France a few weeks ago.
“I was scared for my kids’ man. My kids are so spoilt. I make sure that I do everything for them. My wife as well, she’s still young to have her husband die. It was scary but I’m a strong person, I am a believer,” he told Sowetan before his passing.
