JOHANNESBURG – A motorcyclist who was injured in an accident during a high-speed chase in Johannesburg, has died in hospital.
A group of suspects crashed into four cars and the motorbike on Thursday afternoon.
They were being chased by police when they lost control of their stolen vehicle, near the intersection of Republic Road and William Nicol Drive.
The suspects opened fire on police after their car rolled.
One of them was killed, two were wounded and a fourth is still on the run.
Two unlicensed firearms have been recovered.
