HAMMANSKRAAL – Officials from the City of Tshwane say they will not hesitate to act against those involved in the invasion of privately-owned land.
On Tuesday, residents from Sekampaneng informal settlement in Hammanskraal told eNCA they were determined to rebuild their demolished homes.
They say they have nowhere to go and insist they have paid for the land.
On Monday, two people were killed when violence broke out in the area.
City officials, however, say residents are living there illegally. They want those who claim to have bought the land to provide proof.
