JOHANNESBURG – The Gauteng ANC will meet to discuss the Constitutional Court’s ruling against President Jacob Zuma.
The party’s provincial executive committee will also discuss calls for him to step down.
The meeting follows Secretary General Gwede Mantashe’s call for party structures to debate on the matter.
The Gauteng ANC is seen as being sympathetic to Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Senior officials in the province have been critical of Zuma.
Last week, Premier David Makhura said the party needed to reflect on itself and start putting the people of South Africa first ahead of individuals.
