On January 1, 2025, around 7:30 PM, police responded to a report of an individual with an unlicensed firearm at Thaba di Mmele Initiation School in Kudumane Village. Officers made a surprise visit in the early hours of January 2, 2025, and found a group of men gathered around a rock.
