Early Saturday afternoon Cassper Nyovest announce, The Department of Arts and Culture as a sponsor for #FillUpFNB

After selling more than 68 000 tickets to the landmark #FillUpFNBStadium concert at Africa’s biggest stadium, Cassper Nyovest has now set his sights on Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium.

@CassperNyovest congratulations for being a consistent inspiration for many young people and the Old in our country.

You continue to dream limitlessly and you continue to achieve greatly and that makes you our national treasure.

CONTINUE TO INSPIRE pic.twitter.com/7Jf0pQDtEo

— RSA Minister of Police (@MbalulaFikile) December 3, 2017

Cassper Nyovest fell 7 000 short of his 75 000 target, but will be ecstatic with the support Johannesburg has showed him with the Dome, Orlando Stadium and FNB Stadiums in the past three years under his ‘Fill Up’ concert.

Dear @CassperNyovest
You a legend which my unborn kids will get to know about. I will tell them about you. Its part of Black History which is crucial for a black child to https://t.co/96CXXhQ5Hi have you dared to dream big. You are a mover and a shaker. We are inspired & led. https://t.co/dpqJZMzbdH

Taking to social media just a few hours before his ground breaking venture Fill Up FNB Stadium, he wrote:
“BREAKING!!! Innocent!! We just got another major sponsor Boi!!! The DEPARTMENT of ARTS AND CULTURE will be funding #FillFnbStadium !!! Their consistent support from last year and this year is truly overwhelming!!! I can’t express how happy I am!!! Now, let’s make history!!!

Listen guys #FillUpFNBStadium was the best fucking concert I’ve ever been to in my 34 years of age, 14 years in entertainment industry & 789 years of fangirling.

I’ll save my thread & full breakdown for Sunday Twitter.
But Basically: @CassperNyovest is the Pride Of Africa 🙌

— NINA HASTIE (@THATninahastie) December 3, 2017

I don’t think people realise that 68 000 is only 7 000 short of 75 000.

To me that’s WAY MORE than most artists in the WORLD can do.@CassperNyovest is a legend. #FillUpFNBStadium pic.twitter.com/t2eMqrcp22

— JAY NINE (@TheRealJayNine) December 3, 2017

Cassper Nyovest tweeted he was taking the ‘fill up’ concerts concept to Durban because the city had the vibe. The award-winning rapper has worked in the past with Durban artists such as Nasty C, DJ Tira, Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo and Kyle Deutsch, to name a few.

Moses Mabida next year!!! Durban has the vibe!!! #FillUpFNBStadium

— Today we #FillUpFnbStadium (@CassperNyovest) December 3, 2017

On Twitter TV, the FillUpMabhida has started already but there are some who believe Durban will not pull it off

Moses Mabhida will be sold out watch, Durban ppl support hhayi into yokudlala #FillUpMosesMabhida😁😎

— Mousse (@Mousse59833566) December 3, 2017

Durban people will only fill up Moses Mabhida if they say “coolers allowed in” 😂🤣

— Chef Scott (@ChefScott_) December 3, 2017

Someone tell Cassper Nyovest over there that Durban will never fill up anything.

— LuH (@LunkeH) December 3, 2017

Not enough to fill up a stadium. Durban is a very unique market https://t.co/WJlb7HJkhI
