South African media personality, Bonang Matheba has been trending since Thursday morning.

Matheba started trending on Twitter after she arrived for her appearance at the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court for alleged tax fraud, in Johannesburg.

The former radio presenter and Being Bonang – Reality TV star-  has allegedly been evading the taxman for the past 10 years.

She is being charged for both personal and business tax, with outstanding personal taxes going as far back as 2008.

Matheba is expected to appear in court again on the 14 November 2018 after the postponement on Thursday afternoon.

Many have been tweeting about her alleged tax fraud charges, some in her defense, going as far as saying the judge is jealous of her success.
