JOHANNESBURG – Three South Africans arrested in Ghana over security training, have been released on bail.
All three are former policemen – they’re Major Ahmed Shaik, Warrant Officer Denver Dwahye and Captain Mlungiseli Jokani.
The three men have been charged with conspiracy to commit crime and unlawful training.
The BBC reports they pleaded not guilty at a court in Accra on Thursday.
The men were reportedly training private security personnel for the opposition party.
Ghana is holding elections in November.
