JOHANNESBURG – Kiernan Jarryd Forbes otherwise known as AKA on Friday announced on Twitter that he and his girlfriend Bonang Matheba had broken up once again.

The couple have been one of Mzansi’s hottest couples, displaying their affection in Bonang’s reality show which aired on DSTV this year.

Earlier this year the rapper made an announcement on Twitter that they were no longer a couple, only to confirm later that the “break-up” was just a PR stunt.

However, it seems things haven’t been so rosy between the pair as AKA tweeted that they were no longer together and that he would ‘always love her.’

On Friday morning, AKA tweeted that he and Matheba had decided to call it quits and wished her well.

Myself and Bonang have decided to call it quits. I feel like I need to put this out there so we can both move on. I wish her all the best and I will always love her. ❤️

AKA sent out other tweets that indicated how unhappy the couples were:

People spend their time blaming other people for how they feel when in fact, you have a choice … people make theirs … will you be brave enough to make yours?

People can do things to you, hurt you, make you feel low or whatever but ultimately …. it’s up to you how you deal with it and how you move forward. Nobody is responsible for your happiness, only you can make the choice of which path you think is best for you.

— AKA (@akaworldwide) December 28, 2017

Bonang had some compelling tweets of the situation on her wall as well:

Askies. 💔

— Bonang B* Matheba (@bonang_m) December 27, 2017

…choose joy… once you choose and place your attention on wanting to flow there, the universe will shift for you and inspire you to the action needed to take you there….

— Bonang B* Matheba (@bonang_m) December 28, 2017

They were also caught up in a cheating scandal after a Sunday tabloid reported that AKA was two-timing B with Nicole Nyaba, a local socialite. While he denied the report, it remains to be seen if that was the reason for their recent break-up.

FANS HAD THEIR SAY

I don't know why AKA always feels the need to issue a press statement each time he and Bonang "break up". I relationship yabo yangena nge backdoor to start with. End it the same way you started it, chisos!
