A series of Facebook messages from over a decade ago between the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, and journalist Charlotte Griffiths have resurfaced, revealing a playful and flirtatious tone.
The messages date back to December 2011 and January 2012 and emerged during Prince Harry’s lawsuit against the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday publisher, Associated Newspapers.
In the exchanges, Harry referred to Griffiths with affectionate nicknames such as “sugar” and engaged in lighthearted banter.
Griffiths also playfully called him “Mr. Mischief” and “H bomb,” commenting on social events and their interactions at charity dinners.
The messages reportedly took place after Prince Harry’s split from Chelsey Davy and before he began dating Cressida Bonas, several years prior to his marriage to Meghan Markle in May 2018.
At the time of the messages, Harry was balancing his public duties with personal engagements, including army commitments.
