Its a sad day for mostwako fans across the country whom have met the Gentle Giant, DJ Zondi

Woke up to a tweet that sent shock-waves through the motswako republic

One of the silent contributors to the growth of Motswako culture. The first Dj to play Morafe – “The Whole Thing” (Ska Rasa Wae Senya) on Radio Bop. He gave up his flat to be used as an incubator (Lefoko) where the likes of @CassperNyovest had their early beginnings.#RIPDjZondi pic.twitter.com/swMnwlKQNO

As road leads to #FillUpFNB and #MaftownHieghts DJ Zondi will be missed.

His musical career has had an impact in the motswako.

My heart feels so heavy and I still can’t believe Uncle Zee is gone. Rest In Peace Dj Zondi. Thanks for the love and support you showed me and Motswako over the years. We gonna miss your big laugh, honesty and teddy bear love. 💔😭😭 #RIPDjZondi pic.twitter.com/9Gtarg5G5I
