The eThekwini Outer South Cluster members and the National Mobile Train Unit embarked on crime intelligence operations in the Umlazi area last night targeting suspected drug dealers. During their operations, police arrested three suspects at different locations and recovered a total of 87 capsules of whoonga. The arrested suspects aged between 23 and 39 will appear in the Umlazi Magistrates Court today facing charges of possession of drugs. Police officers will continue with such sting operations across the province to deal with the scourge of drugs. We once again wish to thank members of the community for their continued support in providing police with information of people who are dealing in drugs in their communities.
