The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup draw has officially revealed the matchups for this highly anticipated tournament, featuring 32 teams from six football confederations.
The draw placed clubs into eight groups, ensuring no group contains more than one team from the same confederation (with the exception of UEFA).
Additionally, teams from the same country, such as Chelsea and Manchester City or Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, were kept in separate groups.

Format
This competition marks a new chapter in its history, transitioning from a smaller annual event with seven teams to an expanded tournament with 32 clubs. It will be held every four years, with the inaugural edition taking place in the United States from June 15 to July 13.
Teams are divided into eight groups of four, each playing three group-stage matches. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Round of 16, followed by single-elimination knockout rounds. Unlike previous editions, there will be no third-place playoff.

Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the United States will host the 2025 Club World Cup across 11 cities:

Other host cities include Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Nashville, Philadelphia, Seattle, Washington D.C. and Orlando (which will use two stadiums).
